christmas magic.

sharing christmas with little ones is so sweet and magical! we have been baking and wrapping and gearing up for the special day. the magic isn't in santa or in the gift giving though, but thinking of the BIG reason we celebrate christmas....Jesus!

it is somewhat magical thinking back to the day that God gave the greatest gift....his son. i can see it in my sons eyes when he hands me his gift....so proud and eager to see if i will like it. i am sure that is how God felt on that first christmas day. so eager to see if the world would recieve his son to be their savior.

i hope that you had a wonderful christmas.

i pray you know the greatest gift ever.

Kyle took his last vacation day today. we ran to kokomo to finish our christmas shopping. we still needed to get gifts for each other. we were not going to exchange gifts since he has been laid off, but when he was called back we decided it would be okay to! we stopped at hacienda to eat. brax was not in the picture taking mood. not sure what he was upset about, but so typical for him! {i think it was that we were telling him he had to put his sweatshirt back on....he wore a cut off shirt underneath it. the joys of 5 year old independence}

Delaney and Braxton sang in the Christmas program at church and had the privilege of being donkeys! {they did really good}

the boys were so excited to letters from the north pole!!

we also had our first christmas party at the leffert's.

brax got a wolverine claw and carter got a spiderman.

I took Carter to the doctor today. He had a really bad ear infection! He is such a trooper....he has a really high pain tolerance for those things.

Braxton learned how to play checkers from papa ed while we were gone. he is now trying to teach carter...too cute;)

We had to run to Wabash for kiki to cut the boys hair. Everyone was getting a little shaggy!!

Carter painting with the paints that came in his "12 days of christmas" gifts. I took Mayce to the doctor for an ear infection. As soon as I returned home...carter started to complain with his ear.
